Winchester 70 Featherweight Super Grade Pre-64

Manufactured in 1957, this rifle is in excellent condition especially considering its age. Only 930 of a total production of 581,471  Pre 64 Winchester Model ’70s were Featherweight Super Grades, and from our research, the Super Grade Featherweights are the rarest (only 200-300 were made in .243 WIN. The Winchester Model 70 (pre-64) was not just one of the best and most practical bolt action rifles ever created: it became a cultural icon. Highly figured walnut high comb checkered stock, ebony forend tip, metal grip cap, and quick release sling swivels. These rifles combined the Super Grade with a slim tapered free bedded 22″ barrel to reduce weight.
