This is a Russian Tula SKS semi-automatic rifle in 7.62×39. Serial number- 9910669. This rifle is in good condition and all serial numbers appear to be matching. Other features include a solid birchwood stock, and folding bayonet. This rifle was manufactured in 1954, and was imported by NHM out of Sacramento CA. The Soviet SKS proved itself to be a reliable and low-maintenance self-loading rifle that requires little training in its use and was based internally on the Simonov PTRS anti-tank rifle.
