This is a no reserve penny auction for a Remington Rand M1911A1 semi-automatic pistol in .45 ACP. Serial number-2176224. This pistol is in great condition for its age and was manufactured in 1945. The bore is in excellent condition.

<br />Starting production in 1942, this version as noted by the serial number and the NON-underlined "No." before the serial number, is part of the line Remington Rand had made to be more interchangeable to the other 1911&apos;s in production as its earlier production line was not interchangeable with other brands parts to suit the U.S military&apos;s needs.
