This is a no reserve penny auction for a Microtech MSAR STG-556 Limited Edition semi-automatic rifle in 5.56 NATO. Serial number- 600-BLK00145. This rifle is in excellent condition and comes with the original Pelican case, 4 mags, a Currahee knife with sheath and matching serial number, barrel caps, and sling. American-made version of famous Steyr AUG-SA rifle. First revealed at the 2007 SHOT Show, the STG-556 was manufactured by a subsidiary of Microtech Knives, Microtech Small Arms Research. Production was discontinued in 2015 due to the closure of Microtech Small Arms Research, with founders Tony and Susan Marfione opting to focus more on their line of knives.
