This is an FN Browning A5. Serial number-105884. This shotgun is chambered in 12 gauge with a 2 3/4" chamber, 14 1/2" length of pull, and full choke. The shotgun is in good condition, however, there are cracks on the forend and a small crack on left side of the stock where it meets the receiver as shown in the photos. After running a serial number lookup, we believe this shotgun was manufactured in 1927, making it one of the first 10,000 models shipped to the US market. The Browning Automatic 5, most often Auto-5 or simply A-5, is a recoil-operated semi-automatic shotgun designed by John Browning. It was the first successful semi-automatic shotgun design and remained in production until 1998.
